OBrien Foundation Celebrates Successful Inaugural Charity Ball.
The OBrien Foundation is thrilled to announce the overwhelming success of its inaugural Charity Ball, held at the prestigious Crown Aviary on May 2, 2024. The event, which featured raffle tickets and a variety of items up for auction, raised an impressive $25,000, all of which will be donated to the Monash Children’s Hospital.
The evening was a remarkable gathering of generosity and community spirit, attracting a diverse group of supporters dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children. Guests enjoyed a night of elegance and entertainment while contributing to a worthy cause.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support we received at our first Charity Ball,” said Stavros, Head of the OBrien Foundation Committee. “The funds raised will go a long way in supporting the vital work of the Monash Children’s Hospital, helping to provide essential care and services to children in need.”
Stavros emphasised the significance of supporting the Monash Children’s Hospital: “The Monash Children’s Hospital plays a crucial role in our community by providing specialised care to children and their families. The support and generosity shown at our Charity Ball will help ensure that the hospital can continue its essential work and make a positive impact to countless lives.”
The decision to support the Monash Children’s Hospital was deeply personal for the OBrien Real Estate, as the hospital plays a major part in the community where the network first began back in 2010. In addition to the Charity Ball, OBrien Real Estate has also supported the hospital through its participation in the Chain Reaction Challenge. CEO, Mitch Armstrong conquered a 7-day riding journey covering 1,000 kilometers, which raised over $1.4 million to support both the Monash Children’s Hospital and the Starlight Foundation.
